Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for our API-first financial platform.
• Collaborate with product and client-success teams to create a world-class user experience.
• Scale our platform to handle the needs of our growing user base.
• Review architecture and code to ensure high quality outcomes.
• Apply a UNIX philosophy to build small, modular, and reusable code.
• Build meta-programming tools to help our team increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Maintain a culture of engineering excellence.

Must Haves

• 3+ years of experience building software in a professional environment.
• Strong coding experience in at least two of Node.js, Python, Go, Rust.
• GraphQL experience.
• Ability to work at the UNIX command line.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Robust opinions and willingness to disagree and learn.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration during product development.

Big Pluses

• Experience with PostgreSQL functions, triggers, row-level security.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Expertise in functional programming.
• Experience using AI tools for programming.
• Agile/lean development experience.
• FreeBSD experience.
