Who are we looking for?
Vertalo is looking for a Customer Support Representative (CSR) that has worked with supporting technical solutions for Enterprise level clients. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong technical aptitude with extreme attention to detail. You are intellectually curious, comfortable working in a fast-moving, technical environment and industry, and embrace ambiguity and change. 


Job Summary 

As a Customer Support Representative, you will be the first point of contact and Level 1 resolution expert for our clients contacting us through Vertalo’s established support channels for technical issues and transfer requests.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Fielding and servicing incoming customer inquiries via support tickets and phone surrounding the Vertalo Platform and APIs.
  • Review and Process Stock Transfer Request submissions within established productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify and report customer’s feedback, issues and bugs.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and escalate to the engineering team as needed.
  • Assist in writing and updating technical guides and enablement resources.
  • Support Q&A testing of new feature releases.
  • Support the Customer Success team in account configurations and other client related tasks/projects.
  • Assist the Customer Success team with projects including, but not limited to, reporting, data entry/analysis, industry research, support content creation/upkeep, etc.


Minimum Requirements (Must Haves)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1-2+ years of Customer Service/Support or other client facing role in B2B SaaS or other relevant technical space.
  • Type A personality with a perfectionist attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the capability of talking to and staying abreast of rapidly changing technical developments at Vertalo.
  • Creative problem solver, able to accomplish goals through a variety of processes and tools.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and are able to express complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Welcomes continuous change and is excited by figuring things out and problem solving in ambiguous situations.
  • A growth mindset - always wanting and excited to learning new things.


Preferred Qualifications (Big Pluses)

  • Experience working for a Financial Services company.
  • Degree or relevant experience particularly in Finance, Accounting, Securities, Private Equity, Wealth/Asset Management, Banking, etc.
